London 09 17/18 Feb

17th February

Woke up excrutiatingly early after watching You, Me and Dupree till 1 last night. 7:30 my alarm went off. Kept on pressing snooze, which went off every 5 mins for 30 mins each repeating the first 10 seconds of sweet escape.

Grabbed a shower at 8 and was ready by 8:35, went downstairs for a lovely breakfast of cheerios and by 9:40, we were on our way to Hampshire to visit Amanda's grandad as it was his birthday. The car ride down was tiring. I wanted to fall asleep, because i've been absolutely knackered the last few days. However, Amanda did fall asleep (lucky bitch lol) And I just looked out of my window for thw whole journey watching the tumbling hills fall into each other as massive expanses of green.

Soon, we we there. We went in the house for half an hour or so of awkward chat, and then we went in the car for a 30 min journey to a pub that served gluten free food.

The atmosphere in Fullers pub (hells yeah, it was a fullers) was lovely. The smell of homecooked meals and countryside was almost overwhelmingly beautiful. I ordered Scampi, Chips and Peas and a diet coke. After an admittedly long wait we recieved our food. The scampi was gorgeous, the chips were obviously homemade and delicious and the peas were... peas. Tehehe. Awkward conversations melted into each other and soon it was time to go.

Left Hampshire, the drive back again seemed much faster than the drive there, but its always like that isn't it? Saw Squeak, (amanda's guinea pig) and we had a discussion about his age. He looks so young, but apparently he's 7 which is old for a guinea.

Then Amanda, her mum, and her dad went to the gym so i watched scrubs and did a paragraph of media cwk, because i'm HxC like that. Called Shirl quickly, the went morrissons for pancake ingredients.

Back. Cooked pancakes for the first time in ages. Maybe even this century. Haha. I was doubtful to whether i would like them. But i liked the savoury ones so much that i had 2 (with cheese) and had one sweet one with honey. Gorgeous, but so filling!

Then we talked for a while and watched oceans 13. What a fffiiiilllmmmm! Had some lovely hot chocolate too. Best tasting of the year.

In summary, today i tried peas and pancakes and watched scrubs. Brill


18th February

Today was pretty chilled. Went into Chippenham for the first time ever.

Bought 3 tops in new look for £7.50... I AM A BARGAIN HUNTER! We went on a cafe crawl... well attempted to. Went into two in the end. Cafe central and good old starbucks.

In cafe central i read looking for alaska while having a strawberry milkshake and a bagel. Soooooo tasty.

Then we went to Emery Gate shopping centre and i got heat magazine from tesco. We went into the pet shop, looked through clothes in dotty p's and laughed at all the clothes in Bon Marche. I don't think the shop assistants liked us.

Then to starbucks where we went to chill afterwards. Sat next to the window on comfy chairs. I had a grande hot chocolate. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Tasty!

Met Amanda's mum and we went into Peacocks. After some deciding, we got swimming costumes so we could have a swim in the gym. Confusion to where we were on the way hime, eventually made it back and went to the swimming baths. Came back after we realised it wasn't on for another hour and a half. So we went back to the house to eat fajitas for tea and watch the brits.

Back to swimming baths to swim lanes. I went in the slow lane, obviously. Quite self concious at first, but decided it was lovely to go swimming, nice and refreshing. Besides, noone knew me there. When we came out, Amanda laughed at how crazy my hair looks when its towel dried. Then watched one of the life guards stub his toe on a hose. xD

Back to the house, watched the news, had a shower and snuggled on the sofa with popcorn and duvets in our pyjamas. Watched the holiday. What a FILM! Jude Law is bald now though. Jack Black FTW!
