15th February 09
Today, I woke up a bit later (10) and had a lovely shower. Exciting, i know. Breakfast, then we were off out to morrissons. Picked out a cake tin and some fajita mixes and we were soon off to the checkouts where they were announcing offers of free spiral cutters. All they did was cut spuds.
From morrissons, to the house, where Amanda made her banana cake and we had chinese snacks for lunch. While the cake was cooking, we went for another Chippenham wander. Looked at trees and snow and marvelled at how convenient the pathways were.
Back. Cake out. Cake good. Watched Dancing on ice bolero special for an hour. They didn't even show the whole bolero, which was a complete outrage.
Eventually went out again, this time with a basketball. Walked through residential areas. Saw a portaloo on its side and stumbled across a tiny woods with a stream running by it. Left to try and find Hardenhuish school, so we could actually use the basketball. Found Sheldon college, then Hardenhuish. Apparently Alsatians have infrared vision. Who knew eh?
Watched Amanda shoot hoops in netball nets while playing who wants to be a millionaire and doing impressions of a scary creature from Pan's Labyrinth. Amanda then got called 'bird' by kids that couldn't be older than yr9s. Shocking.
Back. Then off to gym. While Manda got her induction, i watched people swimming and listened to my iPod. Chilled! Manda came out and we walked over the railway bridge (doing the monkee walk) to go to blockbusters to get Pan's Labyrinth. Heard a tiny kid, must have been 5 or 6 point to a film and go 'That film's shit!' Piss funny. Then we realised we weren't blockbuster members. Hung our heads in shame.
Went back to make paella. Amanda's dad became a member so we had Pan's Labyrinth! Before that thiygh, we watched Top Gear and Hammond's engineering somethingorothers. About an Airbus A380. Whateverm it was good!
Then watched Pan's Labyrinth. Opinion was divided. Amanda loved it. Her mum hated it. I liked it a lot, but i could see flaws. It messed with my head, which is a characteristic which i absolutely love it a film. So freaky, but the ending wasn't disappointing, so i was happy!

Woke up at 10, chilled for a bit. Yummy breakfast of nesquik. Went into Bath. Its so gorgeous there! Pretty little stone houses. Went around very expensive spot in bath called 'The Crescent'
Walked around for a bit. Watched an amazing firejuggler for a bit. Shopped, but didn't buy anything. Then walked around for absolutely ages, looking for a starbucks. When we found it i had a rocky road and packet of crisps. Left Bath, went back via Box, which Amanda told me is where Justin Lee Collins is from!
Back, revised for a bit, listened to 'Thunderbirds are go' on Amanda's iPod speakers. In fairness, it was on shuffle. Did maths and science revision.
Downstairs, had a gorgeous roast with gravy and roast beef. Then watched corrie for a bit.
went blockbusters. Was in there for an hour. AND we forgot about Pan's Labyrinth, but we still rented You, Me and Dupree and The Holiday.
Amanda offered me a chewing gum. Popped it out of the pack. It flipped. Amanda then laughed and went 'ho, ho, ho' So funny. I couldn't stop laughing. We eventually got back at 10:10. Watched the news, got ready for bed and watched you, me and dupree. Its a goodun!
THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION:
* Fit juggling guy in toyshop
* Christian rock music coming from the church at 10 at night
* Woman who said 'Evening Ladies!' When we were going Blockbusters. Made my day.
