Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow, everybody needs a bosom!

The past two weeks have actually been pretty eventful. Its funny, the more I do, the less I blog. Okay, that isn't so funny, its just the impact of having less time I guess. Oh well, on we go.

Saturday the 1st of May, I went to see Iron Man 2 with Charlotte. We ate nachos and popcorn and just had a general gossip about everything. Had to get the 38 home because it was late, so Charlotte came back to mine so we could have a Britain's Got Talent night. We ate pizza and lol'd at Mulhern. What's new.

The week after that, I ended up going to town quite a lot... on election day (may 6th), I was in town with Bekah when Gordon, the presenter of North West tonight was interviewing everybody about who they'd vote for; ironically, he was sat in the most popular place in warrington - the bench outside Greggs. There was loads of people giving out samples of ribena too - I ended up having 6 glasses of it. Man, it was nice on a summers day.

I know, I'm only 16 and it isn't expected that I'd have an opinion about the government of today, but I think that the students at priestley are generally more into the results than most parents - I practically had a slanging match with my mum about why she shouldn't vote conservative and why the Lib Dems are the best way to go. They're the best for students and the youth of today, and don't just cater for the rich, like conservatives. Therefore, you can understand my shock and dismay when we ended up with a hung parliament leaning in favour of the conservatives.

Yeah, it's getting serious now isn't it?! It's at this point I think its appropriate to include a politically themed youtube video by the legend that is Nerimon - will I still know what a hung parliament is when I return to this post in a few years time? I hope so.

So we've basically ended up with a parliament which is a coalition of Lib Dems and Conservatives - Conservatives have majority control in the cabinet, but Lib Dems also hold some power within it. In a way, I'm happy the results turned out this way - I was discussing this the other night (when drunk admittedly) and someone made a very important point - Clegg can water down Cameron's policies. Lib Dems and Tories are almost polar opposites on the political scale, so in a way, this will help them reach a fine middle point, surely?

MOVING ON...

Had another Britain's got Talent Night last saturday with Sammy and Charlotte. This was good times. I made lasagne which everyone seemed to love and we watched Mulhern. He really does look like Piers Morgan's son.

Other than that, the week that has just passed has not been too eventful. Its been a blur of tiredness and lack of revision. Admittedly I have revised business pretty well over the past two days.

Thursday afternoon, after being squirted with water and drawn on in film... lol... I went into town with Zoeyy and had a bit of a shopping spree. Bought 2 dresses for the bargain price of £19.20! I love them! We ate lime sorbet and had a catch up, We're very good at shopping together we have found :]

Friday Night, Katy's. Good times; Me, Kitty, Alex, Callaghan, Tom and obviously Katy. Had a few alcohol heavy cocktails and played singstar with one mic. Invaded awkward situations and basically did way too much. Ha. Good times, and didn't even gain a hangover.

Business exam time tomorrow. Listening to Radio 1 at the moment, like I have been doing all weekend. I've become really into the charts... that's sad isn't it? Meh, I love it.
