Ambleside :)

Sooooo... today i went to Ambleside. Its a small town in the lake district, and everyone doing geography in yr11 went... we had to go because we're doing this traffic thing for coursework... so yeah. Wore my black jeans, purple and black dress, patd hoodie and green and black vans. Loved it :)

Coach... spent about 2 hours. I started a mammoth game of eye spy! Awesome... i was crap at it though... Everyone else thought of ones like Horizon and places. I thought of grass xD listened to iPods, phoned Chloe and generally got excited to get to Ambleside!

Sorted out groups... i was with Charlotte, Aimee and Amy. Woo! Traffic survey. We had to count how many vehicles went down the road in 10 mins. 104. I still remember that sadly. 97 cars. 5 lorries. 1 ambulance. 1 caravanette. Then we walked up to town... an i questioned my first person! You see, as part of the cwk we had to question 12 people with a questionnaire we had. And i loved it. I really did. :)

Went into town. Questioned a few more people. Bought a sausage roll from a bakery. Went into random shops. Got some car park survey results. Meh.

Got on the coach so we could go for luncheon... we went next to lake windermere. I bought a mint choc dip ice cream. It was basically mr whippy dipped in choc mint sauce. Sooooooo yummy! Sat on the jetty for a bit and just chatted an laughed. I revealed my fear of ducks and pigeons. And so everyone fed the ducks and pigeons. There was a couple of really cute ducklings though :)

Then we got the coach to check routes where the bypass could go... back on the coach, again. We soon got back into town though, where we spotted where traffic hazards were. And stated whether the shops were for tourists or locals. Exciting eh?! Investigated more bypass routes. And back on the coach home!

The coach took about 3 hours back. Soooo much traffic. But we lived. Me and Charlotte watched a bit of the boosh, i listened to tons of music and just chatted to everyone! Fun! Got back to high school, chatted with Chloe, Amy and Charlotte for a bit. Then said my goodbyes and hitched a lift with Charlotte.

Home. Food. Youtube. Tv. And here I am.

It was a really good day actually :)

Sweeney Todd Tech tomorrow morning... should be fun :)
